The rehabilitation of this property anchored positive changes for the immediate neighborhood. The presence of Fields Corner CDC sparked increased community awareness and development of the Five Street Neighborhood Association.

This is actually a single building with three street addresses, another of those interesting Boston anomalies. At the time of the rehab, efforts were being made to create some units suitable for larger families. This property was reconfigured from nine to six units.

In this building, the two first floor units were designed to provide handicap accessibility. Several of the units are occupied by families who were residents in the area prior to the rehab and have been residents here since 1985.
